Safety & Quality control

The Safety Policy of Creative Paper Mills ltd. is designed to comply with the Standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and to implement and maintain a safe and injury/illness free workplace. Compliance with the following Safety Policy and all items contained therein is mandatory for all employees of the company. The authorization and responsibility for enforcement has been given primarily to the Quality Assurance Engineer. The General Manager/Project Manager share in this responsibility as well.
It is company policy that accident prevention be a prime concern of all employees. This includes the safety and wellbeing of our employees, subcontractors, and customers, as well as the prevention of wasteful, inefficient operations, and damage to property and equipment. This Safety Policy applies to all employees of Creative Paper Mills ltd. regardless of position within the company. The Safety Rules contained herein apply to all subcontractors and anyone who is on a company site. Every employee is expected to comply with the Safety Policy.


The six fundamental safety polices consists of

  • Management commitment to safety
  • Weekly tool box safety meetings at all jobsites.
  • Effective job safety training for all categories of employees.
  • Job hazard analysis provided to all employees.
  • Audio or visual safety presentations given at jobsites by Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • The Quality Assurance Engineer will meet at least once a month to evaluate all areas of safety and make recommendations to the company Chairman/Managing Director.


Safety violation notice(s) shall be issued to any employee, subcontractor, or anyone on the jobsite violating the safety rules or regulations by Quality Assurance Engineer.

  • Any violation of safety rules can result in suspension or immediate termination.
  • Any employee receiving three written general violations within a six month period shall be terminated.
  • Issuance of a safety violation notice for failure to use fall protection or for failure to report a job injury (at the time of the injury) may result in immediate termination, in accordance with company policy. It is understood that Magnum Engineering & Construction Ltd. is not restricting itself to the above rules and regulations. Additional rules and regulations as dictated by the job will be issued and posted as needed.

Job Safety Checklist

  • Hard hats and safety glasses worn.
  • Shirts with sleeves worn.
  • Work shoes worn.
  • Subcontractors’ personnel hold safety meetings as indicated by project requirements in accordance with Company’s Safety Standards.
  • Work areas safe and clean.
  • Safety mono-goggles/face shields worn when circumstances warrant.
  • Electrical cords and equipment properly grounded with GFI’s and checked by a competent person.
  • Regular disposal of trash.
  • Adequate lighting.
  • Oil and grease removed.
  • Adequate ventilation.
  • Adequate supply of drinking water.
  • Sanitary facilities adequate and clean.
  • First aid stations with supplies and equipment. The expiration dates of supplies checked monthly. Expired supplies discarded.

Quality Assurance

Train and develop the skills of our staff to ensure the business is supported by competent and skilled people capable of achieving the objectives of today, and future growth of tomorrow.
Ensure the CPML Business Management System, is continually reviewed and updated to reflect our business operations, and is implemented for the purposes of meeting or exceeding contract, code, statutory obligations and customer requirements. Set targets and measure performance to continually improve our processes.

State of the art & modern testing equipment’s are used for testing parameters such as:

  • Microprocessor based Tensile Machine
  • Digital Burst Machine
  • Digital Thickness Meter
  • Digital Brightness Tester
  • Muffle Furnace
  • Electric Oven
  • Pulp slashing chamber
  • DO meter, PH meter, TDS meter etc.

Creative Paper Mills Limited (CPML) started its journey in June 2005 to procure land, development of the land, procurement of machines.
